Can I also use the HOLY Syrup Bottle with HOLY Powder?

The Syrup Bottle is designed for syrup; if you try it, be prepared to clean it more often.

Can I use hot water?

Not a good idea.

Hot water can mess up the dosage and damage the seal.
If you still want to give it a go:
👉 Keep it below 50 °C

Can I use milk or other drinks as well?

Stick to water!

Anything else can leave behind residues that are almost impossible to remove.

Can I use other syrups as well?

Technically, yes. However, the system is designed specifically for HOLY Syrup.

Other syrups may affect the HOLY Bottle. Sugar and additives can leave residues in the system and cause it to become clogged. Furthermore, a higher acid content can damage the material over time. We therefore recommend using HOLY Syrup exclusively.

Damage caused by third-party syrups is not covered by the warranty.

Does the bottle work with sparkling water?

Yes! The Bottle likes it fizzy too. It gives the flavours an extra kick.

Sparkling water works really well, especially at home or at your desk.

Tip: Make sure you screw the lid on really tight when you’re out and about – the carbon dioxide pressure can cause small amounts to leak out. Be careful when opening it, as it might squirt.

How do I clean the bottle and the mouthpiece – and how often?

Clean the bottle thoroughly before first use.For everyday care:

Rinse it after each day of use
Once a week, fully disassemble and deep-clean it, paying particular attention to the base of the bottle and the area around the pod holder

Clean all parts with warm water, a little washing-up liquid and the cleaning brush, or place them in the dishwasher on an eco cycle at a maximum of 50°C.

Important: Higher temperatures may damage the material and affect how the bottle works.

Shake off any excess water, then leave all parts to dry completely before reassembling the bottle. This helps keep it hygienically clean and in good working condition for longer.

How do I scrub it clean?

Our brush is designed specifically for the mouthpiece of the HOLY Syrup Bottle. Give the mouthpiece a good scrub once a week – but please don’t use it on the syrup tube. And always keep it nice and clean!

How does the Bottle work?

It’s simple:

• Just twist the HOLY Ring and open the bottle
• Insert the syrup pod, click it in and open the cap
• Pour in the water
• Close the lid and lock it with the ring
• Set the dial
• Tilt the bottle and suck it like you mean it
• Done.

How does the Dial button affect the vitamins?

Depending on how you set the dial, the amount of vitamins will also change:
• lower levels → fewer vitamins
• higher levels → more vitamins

All nutritional information is based on level 3.

How often do I need to clean the bottle thoroughly?

That depends on how often you use the bottle. If you use it every day, we recommend giving it a thorough clean once a week.

Take it completely apart and put it in the dishwasher, or wash it with warm water and washing-up liquid – but make sure the water isn’t hotter than 50 degrees.

Is the bottle dishwasher-safe?

Yes! But only up to a maximum of 50 °C. For example, in Eco mode.

If it gets any hotter, it can affect the performance.

In short: Wash me, but don’t boil me!

My bottle is hard to open – what can I do?

If your bottle is difficult to open (e.g. after being closed overnight), this is usually due to slight pressure buildup inside or minor stickiness in the mechanism.

Here’s a simple fix:

Turn the taste dial further counterclockwise – as if you were opening the bottle for deep cleaning
This releases the pressure and makes the lid easier to unlock
To re-assemble the lid: Turn the taste dial clockwise until it locks back into place

After that, your bottle should open normally again

Where are the bottles and pods manufactured?

The bottle comes from Austria.
The pods and syrup are produced and bottled in Germany.

All in accordance with European quality and food standards.

Can I reuse or refill the pods?

We advise against doing this. For hygiene, safety and the best flavour, please use only genuine HOLY Syrup Pods.

Does the syrup contain caffeine?

No – the syrup is caffeine-free.

How do I dispose of the syrup pods?

It’s simple:
You can put the pods in your recycling bin.

The pods are made entirely from a single type of plastic (PP) and are therefore easily recyclable.

And another bonus:
Depending on how you use it, one pod replaces several 1-litre bottles. This means less packaging waste overall.

How long does a syrup pod last?

How long does a syrup pod last?

It depends – the stronger the flavour setting, the quicker the pod will run out.

Roughly:

Level 1 → approx. 5L
Level 2 → approx. 3L
Level 3 → approx. 2.5L
Level 4 → approx. 2L
Level 5 → approx. 1.5L

How much HOLY Syrup can I drink each day? Is there a limit?

For adults and children aged 11 and over, we recommend a maximum of 1 Syrup Pod per day.

Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children under 11 should consume no more than half a syrup pod per day.

HOLY Syrup contains vitamin B6, as well as other B vitamins.

You should therefore not take any other products containing vitamin B6 on the same day, such as dietary supplements.

How should I store the pods?

Best stored in a cool, dry place and protected from direct sunlight. Room temperature is perfectly fine.

You’ll find the best-before date on the bottom of the pod.

Once opened: consume within a few days or store in the fridge.

How sustainable is the system?

Short answer: Much better than supermarket bottles.

One pod makes approx. 2.5 litres of HOLY on setting 3 – the equivalent of five 0.5-litre PET bottles.

Comparison:
the 5 empty PET bottles weigh 75 g, whereas a pod weighs just 6 g. What’s more, we use a single material that’s easy to recycle. That means: less packaging waste, more drink!

Is it necessary to rinse the bottle between flavour changes, or can you simply swap refills?

It’s not strictly necessary to rinse the bottle between flavour changes. For hygiene, we recommend a quick rinse when switching flavours. With any reusable bottle, staying clean is what keeps the taste on point and your bottle in top shape.

What is the difference between HOLY Syrup and HOLY Powder?

HOLY Syrup and HOLY Powder both offer great taste without the guilt

The subtle difference:

HOLY Powder → greater focus on ingredients and functionality

HOLY Syrup → more convenience and perfect for on the go

Both are 100% HOLY – just for different occasions.

Why do you use preservatives in your syrups?

We use small amounts of potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate to keep our syrups fresh and stable — even after opening.

Unlike traditional bottled drinks, our syrup is regularly exposed to air and can be stored at room temperature.

These preservatives help maintain flavour and quality under these conditions.

Shelf life after opening:
• In the bottle: at least 7 days
• Out of the bottle (stored cool & dry): up to 3 weeks

We only use what’s necessary and carefully balance every ingredient — for example, we completely avoid artificial colourings.
